Biography
Trademarks, book jackets, typography. Born 8 October (or February?) 1910 in Holzminden. First trained as a printer, then studied at the Braunschweig Kunstgewerbeschule and the Leipzig Staatliche Akademie für Graphische Künste und Buchgewerbe. Manager of the printing firm Walter Kersten in Halle. After the war, designer for a local government office of Saxe-Anhalt. c1950: worked at Holzminden.
