Biography
Typographer. Born 24 June 1906 in Bad Oeynhausen. Studied at Handwerker- und Kunstgewerbeschule, Bielefeld, under Georg Trump and Wilhelm Lesemann . 1930: taught photography there. 1937: taught typography and commercial art, Leipzig. 1951: taught graphics at the Wuppertal Werkkunstschule. From 1955: taught graphics, printing and advertising at the Staatliche Werkkunstschule, Kassel.
